The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) awards is an international awards program organized by APICTA, which aims to increase ICT awareness in the community and assist in bridging the digital divide. By providing networking and product benchmarking opportunities to ICT innovators and entrepreneurs in the region, the program is designed to stimulate ICT innovation and creativity, promote economic and trade relations, facilitate technology transfer, and offer business matching opportunities via exposure to venture capitalists and investors.

The aim of the project was to develop a sensor-based wearable prototype for facilitating mouse cursor movement and mouse clicks using head rotations and cheek muscle twitches, respectively, allowing people with stroke-induced upper limb disabilities to interact with a computer. The aim of the project was to develop a prototype of a sensor-based assistive technology to assist the physiotherapists with real-time visualization of various performance metrics and quantitative patient assessment in the rehabilitation of people with stroke-induced upper limb disability. The aim of the project was to develop a luggage carrying robot that could locate an elderly individual while applying the concept of GPS triangulation using Bluetooth devices, and autonomously follow them while measuring distance between the user and itself leveraging Bluetooth signal RSSI value.
